The approval of high-rises (15 storeys max) is really going to change the community of Chinatown, North Americas 2nd largest Chinatown to be precise. This will enable the growth of this historic community with new mixed use residential development as well as commercial & retails development along the Main Street strip of Chinatown.

We may not see anything come to life for the next year or so, but the wheels are in motion for our chinatown to finally grow and prosper as it used to!

From what I have heard for the False Creek North / Crosstown Vancouver fore shore is that there will be mass development plans along the edge of the water behind the sea wall... This is the forecasted area below, there will also be integrated park space closer to science world apparently....

Nothing is ever for sure in this city until its complete but I have hope that it will be extending our favourite Downtown neighbourhood to bring more people, more business and more amenities to our door steps!!

Everything cafe is the place to go when any where near 75 West Pender Street, Chinatown Vancouver! 

Sandwich was fresh, coffee was great, service was perfect and the people watching was pretty interesting as well!
